CSOP MAIN EVENT HIGH HAND GIVEAWAY

What is the CSOP MAIN EVENT High Hand Daily Giveaway?  

Every weekend (denoted Friday through Sunday regardless of how many events happen between those three days) the highest hand at any NLH Cash Game table will be awarded the High Hand of the weekend. That player will win a FREE $550 CSOP Main Event Seat.

 

What is the CSOP Main Event?  

Once a year the hosting charities put on the event of the summer called the Chicago Series of Poker or the CSOP.  The CSOP culminates with the $500+$50 CSOP Main Event, with two day ones, and guaranteed minimum first place prize of $10,000!

 

How do I win the CSOP MAIN EVENT High Hand Giveaway?  

All you have to do to qualify is play in any NLH cash game.  Any No Limit or Limit Texas Hold’em Cash Game qualifies for the High Hand Giveaway.  You must make a minimum of a full house to qualify for the high hand giveaways  *some restrictions apply see rules at the bottom of this page*

 

Do I have to be present to win the Giveaway? 

Your name and picture will be taken if you are the winner at the end of the event or when you are leaving.  Without a picture you must come back to claim your prize. By participating, you agree to allow your photo to be posted on any website the hosting charity deems reasonable.

 

Does the hand have to go to showdown in order for me to win?

As long as there is a flop, and you table your hand and all other qualifications are met you will be eligible for the High Hand Giveaway.  For example: you have pocket 88 you raise to $10 preflop, two callers and the flop comes 8810.  You bet out and no one calls, please table your hand and announce I have Quads the dealer will call the floor and you will be written up on the High Hand Board! So always table your hand if you have a chance at the high hand giveaway.

 

How long will the CSOP MAIN EVENT High Hand Giveaway run?   

The CSOP MAIN EVENT High Hand Giveaway will run until the start of the CSOP Main Event Tournament.  There will be no winner for the 8/19-8/21 weekend.

 

Basic HIgh Hand Rules:   

  1. Players must use two cards to qualify for the High Hand Giveaway and Jackpot.
  2. The Pot must be a minimum of $20 (including the rake and promo dollar).
  3. The player must be the sole winner of the pot.
  4. The first hand at any table does not count for the High Hand.
  5. NO FLAMINGO ~ i.e. there is no table talk about the high hand, any discussion of the giveaway or jackpot may result in disqualification.
  6. A floor person must be called over to verify the high hand giveaway.
  7. All players will be photographed as Winners and their pictures will be used in future CCG marketing.
  8. General rules will be used where applicable.
  9. The only eligible table games for the high hands are Texas Hold ’em games only.
  10. Any discussion of hand(s) during play may void payment at the discretion of the hosting charity.
  11. Qualifier: Any Four-of-a-Kind, Straight Flush or Royal Flush in Texas Hold ’em. Both of the player’s hole cards must play. In the case of Four-of-a-Kind, two of the four (a pair) must be in the hole to qualify.
  12. All participants must be at least 18 years of age.
  13. All disputes must be handled at the time of the dispute incident. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the hosting charity will be final and binding and will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  14. Chicago Charitable Games house rules will prevail over any situation not covered in these rules.
  15. Management reserves the right to alter, discontinue or cancel at any time with a 30-day notice, which will be posted in the poker room or online. Management reserves the right to make final decisions regarding the interpretation of the rules and eligibility determinations for this promotion subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
  16. These are the official Chicago Charitable Games High Hand Giveaway & Jackpot Rules. Any rule relating to Chicago Charitable Games High Hand Giveaway & Jackpot rules may be changed, modified or canceled by Management at any time as necessary. These rules will be governed by and will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  17. By accepting the High Hand Giveaway or Jackpot prizes you accept these terms and conditions.
  18. Players can win more than one seat.
  19. ALL TOURNAMENT SEATS ARE NON TRANSFERABLE AND CARRY NO CASH VALUE.  ONLY THE WINNING PLAYER WILL BE ALLOWED TO PLAY HIS OR HER SEAT AND A PHOTO ID WILL BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER FOR THE EVENT.
