What is a Satellite Tournament?

A satellite tournament is simply a tournament to get into a bigger tournament. This means that you would play in either a multi table tournament or a single table tournament with the winners not winning any cash prizes but a seat into a bigger buy in tournament. 

If the hosting charity is running any satellites into a bigger tournament the details will appear in the Event Details Page. (Such as the $80 Qualifier into the $400 CSOP Main Event) Hosting charities will be running single and multi table satellite tournaments into the Heartland Poker Tour, WSOP Circuit Events, World Poker Tour, and the WSOP Main Event.
